Hello Alfred, My David Augusta Wacasey born 22 Sep 1875, GA or AL; Died 06 Feb 1945, Silsbee, Hardin Co., TX, buried in Franks Branch Cemetery, Silsbee. David married Bertie McKee between 1920 and 1924, TX. David is listed in the 1920 Census, Jasper Co., TX (living alone). 1930 census , TX shows him and wife , Bertie, and child, David A.
My grandmother, Emily Elzora Wade born Aug 1830, AR; died abt 1916 somewhere in TX. David & Elzora married 16 Mar 1896, Montague Co., TX. Their children: Emily Gertrude b 1897, OK; William Hershal b abt 1902; Lola b abt 1904; my mother, Mabel Esther, b 18 Nov 1907, (Glen, ? TX); Jewell Odetta b abt & died abt 1912.
My mother was 9 yrs old when her mother died. She then went to live with her oldest sister, Gertrude, who was married at the time.
Anything you could find for me would be greately appreciated. Thank you for answereing my quary.
