Recommend that you read Raymond McKee's 1959 publication "The Book of McKee." McKee's book has considerable information regarding Alexander McKee and his father Thomas McKee of McKee's Half Falls, PA. I was recently able to borrow the book from the National Genealogical Society Library (Loan Service is available to NGS members) and found the book to be an excellent resource.
