Hi Christopher

THanks for your interest and info.
I do know that there still is a John McKee on Church street (I believe) very close to the Bangor Abbey, that still has a McKee fishing and Tackle Store. I never went into the shop when I was there last month, but my cousins who do not live far from that shop say that as far as the info we have there is no connection with that McKee...if it is the same McKee that you are talking about.
It amazes me how small Bangor is, that it is so hard to get any info. Mainly because no one wants to do any work there to make a phone call. I flew across the world to go and fix the Great Grandparents head stone. It was pushed over, and they all just left it. I pushed it back and fixed is great now. It is a whole different world in Ireland. Much more laid back then Ontario Canada. :-)) I guess because they live within the history, it doesn't matter as much. However, my main focus in my family HISTORY book is the geneic tracing, so the health info is important to me and all the stories for personally info too.
When I write my family history books they are huge. I don't think just finding a persons name and birth date really means much. But knowing the life of the ancestor and the health problems, jobs, decriptions, relocations etc, is much more interesting and important.
Thanks again, any little info like that, could always lead to something just never know, so you have to hold all info that people send to you. I will hold onto this too, cause you just never know! :-)
I appreciate it!
