Reciently I've obtained bits of info, and according to a document I have Guain was born in Scotland. This was taken from a paper written by James O.McKee. I also found a Guein(sp) McKee listed on the 1790 tax list in Mason Co.KY, then on the Fleming Co. tax list in 1800 but nothing in 1810.I found last week paper documentation linking my gfather Albert H. McKee to John Wesly McKee. I'm now trying to document the next generation. I think J W McKee's father was Andrew T. McKee. If this is so then the line has more of a chance of being right and going to Guain.
