Do you know whether William McKee and Elizabeth Todd had any children besides the son James? (Seems odd to me to have just one child in those times.)

I have a Samuel McKee who married Martha unk. in Augusta County, VA, in 1762, and have not been able to find Samuel's parents. Some of the family think he might be a son to William and Elizabeth and brother to James, but I've seen no clear proof.

Samuel and Martha moved from their land near present Fort Defiance, Virginia, a few miles from the still-there Augusta Stone Church, to Fayette County, Kentucky in the late 1780s/early 1790s. I've got lots of information on their descendants but would like to link to an earlier generation.
