Hi. I also have a Thomas McKee b. 1749. I've seen the info reporting "Saintfield" County, Down, but mostly this seems to be from the LDS IGI, etc. and I haven't seen any list of sources to substantiaite this claim, so I'm still suspicious of it. Nevertheless, my Thomes was a soldier of the Revolution and died 1814 (or 1815, depending on who you read) in Butler County PA; buried in Butler Cemetery. Had married Martha Hoge (various spellings) in the Tuscarora Valley, present Juniata County, PA and raised a large family. I have information of many of his descendants, some fragmentary, and some in greater detail. My great-grandmother Emma McKee was a 2nd greta-grandaughter of Thomas and Martha. I'd be interested to compare notes.
