I finally am able to write you re: McKee. William Buford was my grandfather so of course all of his brothers were by great uncles. Uncle Paul was the only I knew very well though. My father was Maltie (1907-1973).He is burried in Gates Cemetery as is my mother. They had three children: myself, Shirley (Cherry), and Walter Montel. Montel and Shirley live in Dyersburg and I live in Ava, Mo. Dad had two sisters: Edna who was married to Marvin Potter and after his death to S.F. (Shorty) Flatt. She lived at Curve most of her adult life. The other sister was Ola Mae Kirby. She was married to Aarron Kirby. They had a number of children. while Aunt Edna had only one-Marvin Jr. Dad also had a half brother whose name was Montel but went by Jack. I hope to hear from you soon so we may pass on more information. By the way I go by Gene.....
