Frank: John McKee who died in 1766 had a son named Ambrose McKee Sr. who had a son named John, but he went to Rutherford, TN. and not S.C. There are alot of McKee's in Mecklenberg in the 1700's and it has been difficult to figure out who is what and where, since they all seem to have the same family names......... there was also a Alexander McKee who had a son named John, maybe he is the one you are quering. I will keep your messge and e-mail address and if I see anything I will let you know..... M.Kalapus
