Thomas McKee & Alice McCann from Pomeroy, County Tyronne, Ireland. (circa 1860)

I would like to hear from anyone who has information on the McKEE Family from Pomeroy, County Tyronne, Ireland.

Edward McKee son of Thomas & Alice (nee McCann) McKee emigrated to Queensland, Australia in 1869.

He was married in 1868 to Margaret DUFFY in Cookstown, Co. Tyronne, Ireland. She died in Queensland in 1871.

When he was in Australia, he re-married Mary Ann Bowden in 1877 at Laidley, Queensland. They had 10 children.

Edward's mother (Alice McKee (nee McCann) migrated to Australia in 1870 - 1880 (actual year not known).
His brothers Francis and Thomas and sister Margaret also came to Australia about the same time.

It is thought that after Edward left for Australia the family then lived in Durham, U.K. where they eventually left for Australia in the 1870's - 1880 (?)

Any further information that anyone could provide would be most appreciated.
