According to a bio sketch in American Biography, "Alexander McKee was b. ca 1665, d. 1740, lived in County Antrim, Ireland, Came to America and settled in Donegal, Lancaster Co., PA prior to 1735. Son Thomas McKee was born in Ireland ca. 1695 and came to America with his father."
Alexander's will was witnessed by John Mitchell, Samuel Chembers, Larey Lovey and Thomas McKee. It was written May 27, 1735. The signatures, as always, are open to various interpretive spellings and the Lovey could be Lowry.
What documentation is quoted in the Caldwell genealogy?
