Kathy,

My James McKee came to Australia in 1865. He died in Woodburn, New South Wales in 1902. He never went to Canada.

It is possible that his brothers may have gone to Canada. I can find no records other than birth for them in Ireland, Australia or the USA, so the next obvious place to look is Canada. Let me know if you have any stray Michael or John McKees.

Do you know details of exactly where in Ireland your James McKee came from. At that time there were not a lot of McKees in Antrim,Ireland. Those that were there are possibly related.

I need more detail from you to determine whether there is any association between our ancestors.

Good luck in your research.

Michael McKee
