Chris, I also have a Sarah McKee who was the wife of James Henry McKee. She was Sarah Jane Bizzell before her marriage to James Henry on Oct 2 1867 in Hardeman Co TN. Sarah and James Henry left HR Co TN for Lauderdale Co TN in the early 1880's.
Also, have a Sarah McKee born to John McKee and Louisa Foster Mckee. This Sarah J. was 17 yrs old on the 1880 Dyer Co TN Census. John McKee married Louisa Foster at Hardeman Co TN Dec 1856.
These McKee's have a connection back to Rutherford Co TN in that James Henry McKee's father, William Thomas McKee, was born October 15 1829 at Rutherford Co TN. So far it seems that the father of William Thomas McKee was Ambrose McKee. This Ambrose left Rutherford Co TN ca 1833 and went to Franklin Co Alabama until after the 1840's. From Franklin Co AL they went to Hardeman Co TN.
I do not know if they had any kinship to the Maury or Williamson or Marshall County TN McKee families (but I would sure like to know if they did).
