While looking for info on the Bucher/Bookers of Sullivan Co. In. I found I had a relative that was on the jury for the trial of John McKee who was accused of hanging a woman. She had a reputation of sleeping around and blackmailing. Mr. McKee had a good reputation and got off. It is a interesting story in "The History of Green and Sullivan Counties,State of Indiana. Chicago, Goodspeed Brothers & Co.,Publishers,1884. Do any of the McKees know anything about the Bookers of this time and area?
