I noticed that your John McKee Sr settled near Blount County,TN. My great-great grandfather was also John McKee, the last location I have for him was Loundon County, TN in 1918 when his son, my great-grandfather Fred McKee died at age 33, leaving a wife, Sinthia, and two young sons, my grandfather, John Anderson McKee,(age 2), and James McKee(about 6 months). I know that John(my great-great grandfather) married Martha Varner and they were both from Tennessee. Does any of this sound like it could link with you John McKee Sr? I have noticed that they really liked the names John and James, because my grandparents had two sons, John Jr. and James Kenneth. After Fred died my great-grandmother lost contact with the McKee family so I don't have very much background, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
