I am searching for information for Susanna McKee living in the 1st district, household 702 page 125 of the 1850 census in Shelby co. TN. In the household are:
Susanna McKee 47 F NC
John Mckee 23 M TN
Elizabeth McKee 21 F NC (Elizabeth Fleming m John McKee in Sept 1850.
Theodore McKee 17 M TN Student
Franklin McKee 13 M TN Student
Mary McKee 9 F TN Student
Elizabeths parents believed to be Archibald and Dorcas Fleming who lives nearby.
I find Elizabeth McKee in White co. Ar. in 1870 widowed and having 4 children. Sally, Mary, Caldonia and John A. Mckee. Caldonia is my grandmother. Living next door to Elizabeth McKee are a number of Flemings including Archibald and Dorcas Fleming 75 and 73 both born in NC.
If anyone has any information on any of these folks I would appreciate it.
By the way Caldonia Ann McKee/McKey married John Robert Stewart 1779 in Conway, Ar. They lived in El Paso, Ar. until my grandfathers death in 1921. He and my grandmother are buried at the Blasingame cemetary outside El Paso.
