am searching for any information on Joseph McKee married Eliza Taggert/Taggart. Both were born in Ireland in the mid 1800's. They came to America and settled in Queens, NY. Joseph was a fireman at the Jackson Ave. firehouse. They had sons named Joseph A. McKee, James McKee, John Francis McKee, and possibly Hugh McKee. They had a daughter named Mary, and one named Lily. Mary married an O'Connor. John Francis McKee married Beatrice Mae Johnston, daughter of Harold Johnston and Mary Ellen Catherwood Johnston. The Johnston's both came over from Ireland and settled in Brooklyn. Harold drove a hanson cab. They also had young Harold among other children. Young Harold was killed in WWI. Either he, or his brother were studying the priesthood.
