Hi Mark, Thanks for your reply.
Carroll Co TN is northeast of Madison Co, Huntingdon is the county seat.First county west of Carroll Co is Gibson Co and McKee(s) were also in and out of there early-mid 1800's.
Carroll County was created 1821 from Indian lands.
I have read several of your postings and wondered if we might relate SC>GA>AL>MS>TN>MS.Haven't really found hard evidence to link my 1832 John McKee and 1833 William McKee with anyone--not even each other--their having married at Hardeman Co TN within a few months of one another is the only thing I have found in common. They did not reside there at the 1830 or 1840 census. My husband's great greatgrandfather, William Thomas (Raiford/Radford?) appears on the 1850 census. The 1832 John or 1833 William could have been his father from an earlier marriage possibly but I have not found any evidence to prove or disprove that thought.
I have a timeline draft I would be glad to email you and would appreciate seeing what you have.
