I'm searching for information on my gg grandmother, Nancy McKEE Blackwell. The widow of Richard H. BLACKWELL, she moved to their farm in St. Louis County, MO after his death about 1839 in Crawford Co, MO. They were married in 1829 in Jessamine Co, KY, had five children. She completely disappears after the 1850 census when I found her in St. Louis County. I've not been able to find her death or a re-marriage. She was born about 1799 and was the daughter of David McKEE and Anne DUNLAP. Richard BLACKWELL was apparently quite wealthy since Nancy had to put up a bond of almost $25,000 to be administrix of his estate in 1839. I hope someone here on the Forum will be long lost cousins of mine!
