Searching for over 10 years for any information about Nelson A. McKee. I haven't been able to connect him to any family. Checking the 1850 census in the area, it looks like there are many McKee children living in households with different parents. Beginning to wonder if he was adopted? The family moved to Washington State about 1898 and I can track them from that point forward. Any leads would be VERY appreciated.
Nelson A. McKee born 14 August 1848. Death Certificate says Indiana. Married Lemma Francis Banta born 16 July 1855, Johnson, County, IN. Married 1873 in Lebanon, Boone County, IN
Children: Laura M, Oscar O, Charles P, Lidia (Lydia, Lydie) and 2 children who died young.
