My suggestion is to make a choice from any number of the MacKay tartan setts, being as MacKay is the chosen spelling for the name of the clan to which McKees are descended / related.It must be noted that in Scotland, there can be many spelling variants of the same name and it is just as acceptable for a McKee or McKie or McGee to wear a tartan called MacKay, as it is for a Johnston to wear Johnstone, Elliott to wear Elliot or Carr to wear Kerr.
