I find a note in my file that on the 1850 Federal Census for Birmingham Twp, Alleghany Co., PA, there is a McKee family. The parents are William and Mary Stewart McKee. The children are Daniel, John, Samuel and Thomas. The whole family is in the glass business. Since the father's name is William and they are glass makers, perhaps you can
find more info on the Alleghany Co.-Birmingham Twp. site. Hope they will connect to your people.
