Possibly----John McKee, who married Elizabeth ----, was the son of Robert McKee (d. 1828) by his wife Elizabeth (Miller) McKee (the latter b. 1755). John may have been born around 1775-1780 and *could* be the same as the John you mention. He was in Allegheny County in 1829, when he sold land to his brothers. The key here is mainly McKeesport, as Robert lived in nearby St. Clair Township and there weren't many other McKees in the vicinity at that time. Do you have any more on John?
