Hello cousin:

I am also descended from William McKee and Hester Adams. There son John Adams McKee followed by Robert Marion McKee and finally my grandmother Dora Alice McKee takes care of the McKee name in my line. How do you descend? Yes, I would like to share lines.

I have a copy of a photo of William and John Adams McKee. Both are from CDV's taken probably in the 1860's. Do you have photo's of William and who ever you descend from if not John Adams McKee? My copy of William isn't very good. A lady in Vermilion Co.,Illinois has access to another one of him. I hope to meet with her and copy it. They are out there. I think I saw one in Centralia,Ill. too. I've copied two bibles of William & Hester.

I guess by now you have Hester's ancestry back. Best I have been able to do is two generations back, but I've just retired and now I have time to work on it more. My wife and I have been doing genealogy for over 20 years already.

If you have the Augustus line I may be able to help there too.
