I was in Coshocton Co., OH. last weekend and found the McKee Cemetery there. The cemetery is tiny, extremely so. Only three stones mark the graves of this family. The name of the cemetery is from the USGS listing of Cemeteries but should actually be McKey and not McKee. Here is a description of the cemetery: Letitia McKey, daughter of John & Sarah McKey 1846-1906. Has a foot stone marked L.M. Behind that stone is a much older and larger stone that is the twin of the last one. It contains the names on three sides of: John McKey, son of John & Sarah McKey, died Mar 21, 1859 in the 20 year of his age. Andrew McKey, son of John & Sarah McKey, died Apr 6, 1855 in the 18th year of his age. Margaret McKey, daughter of John & Sarah McKey, died Apr 3, 1860 in the 20 year of her age. The last stone bears the names of: Sarah McKey, wife of John McKey, died Dec 10, 1872 aged 65 years. On the back is: John McKey, died Oct. 21, 1879, aged 80 years. Each person had a foot stone with their intials marking their final resting place, M.M., J.M., A.M., S.M. and J.M. which is very faint. The rest of the stones are in remarkable condition which probably has to due with the remoteness of the cemetery and the protection from the trees that surround the cemetery and provide a complete umbrella of protection. The cemetery can be found about a mile east from county road 206 on township road 359. Anyone recognizing these names and can connect with them please contact me. Sarah McKey's maiden name was McFarland and may be the sister of John McFarland buried nearby in Tiverton Cemetery. More information on these McKeys can be found at my website at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~mysong
