James McKee, b. OH, migrated OH>AR>OK

My husband's grandfather is a James McKee who was born in Ohio in 1820-30. He moved to AR and is listed with his wife Myrom, born in AR, on the 1850 AR census with 3 young children. He is listed as being born in OH on the census. We have not been able to find any info on his parents or even where he was born or lived in OH. And I don't know if he went to AR with or without his parents. I have located several McKee's in the OH area around the early 1800's, but have never been able to make any connection. Can someone help, please?
