Lookup in Book of McKee
Posted by: Lisa Shaw Date: April 07, 2000 at 08:54:34

I was hoping someone out there could help me out. If anyone has access to the Book of McKee, I could really use a look-up. I am searching for John McKee b:1740 in Ireland. Came to America in 1755 supposedly with a family bible. He died Dec. 14, 1834 in Beaver Co., PA. His wife is unknown. He had a son Thomas McKee, b: Jan. 10, 1800, d: Jan. 20, 1881 in Beaver Co., PA and married a woman named Margaret.

John took part in the Boston Tea Party and was present at the signing of the Dec. of Ind. He also fought in the Rev. War, where he was a General and was given land in Beaver Co. for his service.

I am at a loss to find his wifes name or his parents. I would be glad to reimburse for any copying and mailing costs.

Thanks
