Nice to hear from you. I did find that information in the L.D.S. files. I noticed that Geo. McKee, Sr. died in 1802 and Geo. McKee, Jr. was born in 1823. Of course, it would have been impossible in that day for a child to be born 21 years after his father's death.
I figured they must have left out a generation or something. So, I found out who had submitted the information and wrote to him about the discrepancy. He admitted to me that he had made up the relationship and even invented "Polina Eldridge" to make it look good. She is not a real person. He said he never intended that it be published, but someone else sent it in without his permission. I was extremely disappointed, as I am sure you are. I asked him to please have the false information removed from the file, but, so far, it has not been removed.
Actually, I have found several other glaring errors in the L.D.S. genealogy records. They have a lot of good information, but everything you get from them has to be double checked.
I think I am coming to WV again this summer to do some more research. Hope we can get together.
