Paul S. MCKEE, Jefferson City, died Feb. 26, 2000, at Hospice of Jefferson City and Mid-Missouri.
He was born May 20, 1916, in Centertown, the son of Patrick H. and Lela Shannon MCKEE. He was married Sept. 13, 1941, in Grinnell, Iowa, to Dorothea K. HEIDBREDER, who survives at the home.
He was a 1934 graduate of Centertown High School and was a 1941 graduate of Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg. He received his masters degree in 1951 from the University of Columbia. He was a coach and school administrator for 37 years at several Mid-Missouri schools.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Jefferson City, and a member of the Missouri State Teachers Association.
Other survivors include: three sons, Robert N. MCKEE, Cleveland, Ohio, Jerome D. MCKEE, Yorba Linda, Calif., and Rodney J. MCKEE, Clarkston, Wash.; one daughter, Peggy S. VINCENT, Chapel Hill, NC; two brothers, Ralph MCKEE, Centertown, and Ronald MCKEE, Goleta, Calif.; two sisters, Marjorie MCDANIEL, Goleta, and Wanda HAWORTH, Centertown; and ten grandchildren.
