Searching for any information about Jonathon G. McKee who married Jane Swiney; license dated 1842 in Shelby County, AL. The McKee families were living in the area of Shelby County and then eventually moved into Autuaga County. I don't know what happened to Jane (Swiney) McKee, whether she died or if perhaps she and John were divorced. Later census reports seem to show that John was married to a woman other than "Jane" that is unless she was going by a different name.
