Family Search

I am looking for my roots. I am looking for my father but spelling of the last name could be an issue. I was told my last name was spelled McKeeken (the second k is silent) but am unable to find the same spelling. So I am inquiring on all the message boards under various spellings of the name in hopes that some one may be able to help me. My father was in northern California in the Air Force in 1956/57 and was stationed at Hamilton Air Force Base. His nickname was "Frenchie" or "Frenchy" and he was of Scotch/Irish descent and his family was from Canada. This is the only information I have. If you can help me in my quest, I would be grateful.
