I'm related to a McKean family in Crawford County. Alexander McKean (b.1840 in Ohio) married Margaretta J. Osburn (my ggg-aunt) in Crawford County on 16 Dec 1861. They had nine children in Jackson Township, Crawford County: Bernhard (b.1862), Sherwood (b.1863), Irene (b.1865), Hall (b.1867), Claude (b.1868), Grace (b.1871), Ariadne (b.1873), Pearl (b.1875), and Edna (b.1877). Alexander was a farmer, and the two older sons are listed as farmhands in the 1880 census. Hall was in Crawford County in 1900, working as a railroad brakeman and without wife or children. I haven't yet found any other children in later censuses, nor any marriage records.
