McKeans in Shohola, PA

Hi. I am looking for information about McKeans in Shohola, Pike County, Pennsylvania. Here is what I have so far:

Jesse McCain/Kean/Kane
father- James or Daniel
b. about 1790 (age 70 in 1860 census) in New Jersey
married to ?, Elizabeth (born in New York)

Appears individually in the 1810 Census, before that could be as son of Daniel or James McKean

Children: David, Hugh, Bateman?, Angleth (Elizabeth?), Jonah, Gibson (possibly more)

Gibson McKean
age 28 in 1950 Census, married to Rachel
children: Priscilla, Mary, John, David, Jesse, Gibson Jr., Seymour George, Hugh, Rachel A., Alice, Oscar?

Hugh McKean married Mary Jane Greening. He was born in 1862. Their children were Belinda, Lila A., Samuel, Dorothy J., Harvey N., Sain (Male, written Sarah on census, but my grandmother says it was a boy), and Mabel. Dorothy married Edward Schadler Jr., also of Shohola. They had three children, one of whom was MaryAnna Schadler, who married Lester Krause. They are my stepfather's parents.

Family folklore says that the Shohola McKeans are descended from Thomas McKean. I have not, however, been able to trace the Shohola McKeans before they moved to Pennsylvania. Any help in this area will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
