Interestingly, I have found 2 Joseph McKamies and am trying to sort them out.

Joseph McKamie #1 Information from family sources and census information (1870, 1880,1900 Izard Co, AR and 1850 Bedford Co, TN)

Joseph - born 07 Apr 1822 Tennessee
married Nancy (McAdams) 13 Jul 1848 TN
Children:
William Jackson MCKAMIE 23 Sep 1850 TN
James Thomas MCKAMIE 20 Feb 1853 TN
Frances Catherine MCKAMIE 6 May 1857 TN
Anise MCKAMIE 24 Sep 1860
John Calvin Floid MCKAMIE 1 Jan 1862 AR
Sarah Emily MCKAMIE 08 Feb 1866 AR
Octavy Adeline MCKAMIE 10 Jun 1868 AR
I have some information on the above children's death dates, spouses, children, etc.

Joseph H. McCamy #2 (spelling in 1860, Washington County census)(Birthdates are based on age in this census)

Joseph b. 1818
Married Nancy (?) b. 1819
Children: James b. 1839
John b. 1842
Martha b. 1841
Jasper b. 1846
Caledonia b. 1845 (female)
Viola b. 1852
Pleasant b. 1854 (male)
Thomas b. 1856
George b. 1858
Other possible children of this marriage: Marian, Mintie, Wilse

Questions to be answered:
1. People have said that Joseph's middle name is "Hodges". Which one? I found land records for Joseph #2 in Washington County which listed his middle initial as H.
2. Both Josephs married a Nancy. Which one married Nancy McAdams. My information says #1 but in light of this second Joseph maybe this is not correct.

Any commments or information appreciated.
