McKain Obituary, Butler/Venango Co., Pennsylvania

Hello,

I sent for this obit quite a while ago, thinking that it might be for one of my McKain/McKean's. It was not; but, I'm pretty sure that it is for Jotham Joe McKain. I have seen many trees on ancestry.com that included him. The obit was published in the Butler Citizen newspaper, Butler, Butler Co., Pennsylvania on 25 Feb 1913.
It reads as follows:
John McKain
John McKain, aged 73, died Saturday at his home at Scrubgrass township, Venango county. He was a veteran of the Civil war. Surviving are his wife and fifteen children. This is the first death in the family for fifty years and during that time the family have never had a physician in the home.
Funeral services at the Stone church Monday. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
I hope somone is able to use this.
Carol
