Black Cowboy George McJunkin of Folsom, NM
Have just received my Nov 2001 issue of the New Mexico Magazine, page
46-49 has an article on him with pictures. Written by Lee H. Bridges
author of the book "From Myth to Man: The Black Cowboy Geroge McJunkin
and His Times" Publ by Univ of North Texas Press. (Not sure but I
THINK thats at Denton.?) He also refers to the WPA writers project, an
interview with William Emery, who rode with George. Home page of Union
Co site has the link to this project.
