The above marriage was in Glenurquhart, Inverness, Scotland. In the OPR, Jean (Jane) is given as daughter of John McIntosh, Glenmoriston. In the 1841 Glenurquhart census they are recorded, Alex 38 blacksmith, Eliza? 11, Jane 31, Duncan 6, Catherine 5, James 3, Archie 1. In the next house at Lewiston are John and Eliza, both 70. I think this could be Alex's parents John McIntosh and Bessie Chisolm.
Does anyone have any confirmation of these connections?
