I am looking to complete some holes in my family history that has taken many years to track down even the smallest bit of information. The furthest we have been able to lock down for sure is James Redford McIntosh, was married to Francis Aretta Hiskett. They had seven children together; Ward Richmond McIntosh (1881); James Lee McIntosh (1882); Maud Lovey McIntosh (1885); George Hector McIntosh (1888); Nannie Bea McIntosh (1890); Katie Bell McIntosh (1893); and James Roy Lexie McIntosh (1895). Not much else is known on him, but I recently learned his mother's name was Nancy and she was born in 1813 in Obion. He is as far back as our family records go. This information was put together from our Family Tree and family papers. I would greatly appreciate any help from you guys in gathering more information on Nancy, or James Redford's father, even a name would help us so much, thank you!
