1)John McInnes was from the Isle of Islay, Scotland and at some point emigrated to Canada. 2)He was a school teacher (but I don't know if he was one only on Islay or in New Brunswick or both places) who lived on the Isle of Islay, Scotland before emigrating to Canada. 3)I don't know who he emigrated to Canada with. 4) I am interested in finding info about his pedigree and the name of the ship that he sailed to Canada in. 5)Did he sail directly to New Brunswick, Canada or where? 6)He married Elizabeth Roberson or Robertson and had Colin, John, Charlie, Archie, Eliza Jane, Marion (who married Allick McCrae), Duncan, Sandy, and Murdec. 7)John McInnes'daughter, Eliza Jane, married Nelson Smith, son of Gideon Smith, of Albert County, New Brunswick, Canada. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thank you.
