Hi Anne. I get mixed up too when I have only a person or so to search. I really appreciate your replying. I don't have any other information on my Burnard/Bernard--not even exactly what his surname is. His surname is hard to read on the 1870 census and so I am trying the many "Scottish" sounding names to try to locate him!! Sure would be nice if the enumerator's of the censuses would write or spell better!! So I'm afraid I can't help you. :<( So frustrating. Sue
