HIya James!!

We have some good discussion going now.. I've been doing some preliminary research (without true documentation).

First, I agree, their is a strong correlation that Anne (Hamilton) Seawright is the siter of William Hamilton. I have him being the spouse of Jane McIlwain. This is a close spelling of Mcilwaive? I found this information at http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/p/e/t/David-H-Peter-NV/GENE2-0001.html. This site gives some good information on the Hamilton Family.

Second, I have a lead on William's parents.. will need to do some more research...but this is what I discovered...

William Seawright, Sr. (1720-1771) was the son of James and Sarah Seawright III.

James Seawright III (1660-1756) was the son of James Seawright Jr.

James Seawright, Jr. (1640 - ) was the son of James Seawright, Sr.

James Seawright Sr. (1620 - ) was the son of Edward and Theodisia (Sharswood) Seawright.

Edward Seawright (1600 - ) was the son of William and Elizabeth (Morley) Seabright.

William Seabright (1576 - 1620) was the son of Peter Seabright.

Peter Seabright (1560 - 1639) was the son of John Seabright (1520).

Again, this has not been proven; still working on it..
