I'm seeking the names and if possible the dates of the parents and grandparents of George W. McIlvaine, resident of New Philadelphia, Ohio; mayor of that town in 1852; and justice of the Ohio State Supreme Court in 871–1886. His daughters were Carrie McIlvaine Shotwell and Belle McIlvaine Shotwell. Also, I am seeking the names of the children and grandchildren of Charles Pettit McIlvaine (1798-1873), Episcopal Bishop of Ohio, President of Kenyon College, envoy to Britain for President Lincoln, etc.

Any information gratefully received, though I can provide little information about anything but the Shotwell descendants of George W. McIlvaine.
