Looking for the parents of John McElvain. Born in Baltimore (historical reference) and lived in Erie Co. PA; Kalamzoo, MI; and son John went to Kankakee IL abt 1848. Mary Jordan believed to have been born in Ireland. No marriage date as yet.
Would like to hear from anyone who may know John's parents, and eldest son was Greer McElvain.
