Great ! I would love to hear more on your info about "Jane MCIlvain married William Hamilton 1749 Lancaster, PA.". From the inscription on the tombstone of William Hamilton and his wife, Jean (Jane) at the Old Leacock cemetery. the date of birth were 1720 for William and 1719 for Jean. (Now I am substracting from their death date from the the number of years, months and days for their birth date as subscribe on their tombstones. Strangely, Jean was listed 89 years but no months or days were subcribe). So from your info date of marriage ( 1749),that mean William and Jean were married at about thirty years of age. Most doubtful, but possible.
So I would love to hear where you got the source as describe as above. Sincerely, Jim
