Hi Nancy- Your comment "I found a William Seawright who married an Anne Hamilton abt 1745 in Leacock." Whereever you found it, its was not proven. Your second comments " the second IGI record from the LDS site says that he was born 1720 Londonderry, Londonderry,Northen Ireland and also it said he died 1771" This information was repeatly copies from the Searight book of 1893. The author, James A Searight, stated in his book William Seawright was born near Londonderry, Ireland. The date of his death in 1771 was comfirm from his testament of will. Fully documented.
Your third comment "The third record off of the same site said that William was born 1720 Carlisle, Cumberland, PA and married Anne Hamilton 1754 in Carlisle, PA." Absolutely false. The Searight family migrated to Carlisle, PA. till the testament will was settled in 1772.
One has to be very careful on where you gather your information. One has to search deeper into the proven archives before publized to on going media. Sincerely, Jim
