I don't know allot but I am a decendant of the McIlrath family from Cleveland OHIO. My Great Great Grandmother was Lavina (Zamma) McIlrath. He father was Thomas. They came from Washington County PA to Ohio. They had farm land in the Cleveland area which was later developed. They are in some books about Cleveland's History. Go to the Western Reserve Historical Society website and do a search.

Lavina married John Valentine Miller and adopted a 7 year old girl who's name was Ethel Land or (Lamb). They changed her name to Edna Miller.

I learned that the McIlraths were associated with the RUPLE family who also came from Washington County PA. I am trying to find out about them too, maybe I can get a lead on more McIlrath history.

Let me know how you do.

Sincerely, Denise
