JAMES JOSEPH SR., suddenly on October 23, 2009, of Olney section of Phila. Beloved husband of Shirley A. (nee Keller). Devoted father of James McHugh, John McHugh, Joseph McHugh (Lori), Susan McHugh, Steven C. McHugh (Maureen), Michelle Wolf (Jonathan), and David McHugh (Colleen). Dear brother of Mary Gallagher (James), Kathleen McHugh, Christopher McHugh (Phyllis) and the late Honorable Michael F. McHugh (Betty) and the late Patricia McHugh. Also survived by his 14 loving grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at St. James Catholic Church, 8320 Brookside Road, Elkins Park, PA 19027. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday. Int. Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Michael F. McHugh Memorial Scholarship Fund, C/O Manor College, 700 Fox Chase Road, Jenkintown, PA 19046.
