Hello Scott Michaelis,

My grandmother was a McHone, from the family of Alfred & Anna (Poynter) McHone. This probably means nothing to you but let's see if I can help out here. I have no idea if we are of the same McHone family but what more do you know of your father FRANK MC HONE? Where was *he* born? What were *his* parents names? His grandparents names. Did you have any aunts and uncles, if so do you have any of their names? What was your mother's name? What info can she give you? Where did they meet?

Give us the name of your ancestor who was one of the first elected sheriff's there in Port Angeles, that is a great clue for us to start on, also the year that he was elected.

You are quite young and I commend you for trying to find out more about your family because your little Carley may want to know more about your family also one of these days.

IF you know ANY NAMES, PLACES, ANYTHING AT ALL further back than your father let us know, maybe we can help. Many of us work out of our own Family Tree programs and can check to see if one of your family members are familiar and let you know so you can work further back and possibly find a lot of family for you.

Waiting to hear from you,

Carol Kunz
