Seeking information about Isaac McHENRY, born about 1805, wife Nancy, on 1850 census in Young Township, Jefferson County. Prior to that he is listed on the 1830 and 1840 censuses in Indiana County ... Washington Township and Mahoning. I suspect he is somehow related to Isaac and Jane (Smythe) McHENRY. Their children were Joshua L., William M., Samuel, Joanna C., John M., Robert J., and Charles A. I have been unable to locate them on the 1860 census, except (possibly) Joshua, who is listed as J. L. McHENDREY in Winslow Township, Jefferson County, PA. I believe their son William is my g-g-grandfather, William Marshall McHENRY, who moved to Henry County, Illinois and married Catherine MEER in 1855. He is my brick wall.
