The idea behind chain migration is that one person leaves the cmmunity, writes home to say how wonderful the new place is, and other follow. With that in mind this is the movement pattern of William & his sons.
William b 1693 moved to PA from Ireland.
William had 6 sons.
William's son Col. Alex owned land in Lancaster, PA, Cumberland Co. PA & Scott Co. KY. He had 5 sons:
Samuel Heber b 1783 in Cumberland Co. PA, lived in Scott Co.,KY & moved to Greene Co. OH in 1817.
James was among the killed 7 missing in the Battle of the River Rasin in the War of 1812.
David M. Sally English & lived in IN.
William died at age 30.
John M. Martha Denny & lived in IN.
Also see Capt. John' sons in next message.
