DNA results and DNA test sale
I thought I would post a new message even though it seems that I'm just about the only one reading this forum.
The McHarg DNA project is 5 1/2 years old now and we have learned a lot.But the more we learn, the more questions we have.We desperately need more McHargs to take the DNA test to answer these questions. All the McHargs of any spelling variation right now (with the exception of a small divergent line) are descendants of the Ui Neills of northwest Ireland (Niall of the Nine Hostages being the notorious family member). But more closely in time, we all relate to varying degrees to a McHarg whose ancestry goes back to 1766 in Maybole, Ayrshire. Is this true of all McHargs/Mahargs in southwest Scotland? What about the McHargues from Kirkcudbright and Wigtownshire? How do they fit in?
The test is safe and secure and gives us valuable information. Please consider taking part in the project.
The 37 marker test is offered at a special price of $119 from now until Dec. 31.To sign up, please go to www.familytreedna.com/public/McHargue_McHarg
